Peng Heong Hakka 平香 PaiKut Restaurant

Last week on an MC day, suddenly thought of this restaurant. It used to be a stall near to an Indian cinema 璇宫 (can't recall its English name) in Klang, recently just moved to this new shop lot that the boss bought his own. I used to had lunch during my primary school time as the stall was very close to my school, and it's just neighbor to the "pick up point" that my dad used to pick me home. I recalled the boss very kind and nice (and now still very smiley face). You'd know la, kid like me finished my pocket money buying Tora, Doraemon, Kam Kam etc during school time, and where got left over to buy lunch, so I always hutang my lunch there and my dad would clear the debt when he arrived or I would pay the boss the next day. Probably the fat short boy had changed too much become fatter shorter man, the boss couldn't recognize me anymore. Hehe...
As the restaurant name hints you, this restaurant is specialized in Paikut or pork ribs in Hakka style. So never fail, my favorite paikut must be on the table whenever I eat there, of course with the pork balls as well. There are other yummy foods (see the menu below), but we had too little headcounts to wallop all the delicious dishes. Not many photos for my meal, sorry, too hungry and too long didn't visit the restaurant... :p

The price... If I tell you those working in industry area around Port Klang, Klang and Shah Alam probably be very familiar with this stall (err... no, it's restaurant now). In addition, the boss extends his business hour from 7am to 4pm daily, Monday to Sunday and the 7am operation is to cater for early bulk orders from factories for the workers. So now you should know it's very economy since the blue collars could afford to take it as lunch. For this particular meal, it's average RM9 per pax with 4 dishes.

Now, slideshow time!! It needs not me to explain more, here is the menu...

p/s: I think I inadvertently deleted some, so above may not be the complete menu. Ohya, remember to try the soya bean, very cheap for a bottle and not so sweet...

p/s #2: photos taken using my stone age HP PDA... :") I don't usually bring camera along with me (and proudly to say I don't have one) since I am not professional photographer nor am I the full time blogger...
