Bistro Se7en and The Ribs Part 1

It was just another Friday, with a difference that everyone in my company was happy with year end "angpau" from my company. Especially during this tough recession time, I should feel thankful to my company. Some of my friends are still worrying if they would get theirs and very pessimistic with salary increment.

With extra angpau in the pocket, everyone tends to feel itchy to indulge self with something. No exception on me, and few of my friends who crave for good food like me. At the same time, I was lepaking at one of the online friends' blog and found out a restaurant that serves pork ribs! With few communication to friends, date and time was set quickly and we were on our way to the restaurant yesterday...

The restaurant opens at 6pm onwards. We left our office around 4:15pm and were undecided where to hang out for time passing. There are only 2 rows of shops at that area, we surveyed and decided to make a pit stop at a corner bistro, the Bistro Se7en located at the ground level of Sri Ayutthaya Thai Restaurant...

Perhaps we were early, not many crowd in the bistro. The weather was cooling with intermittent rain. We took a seat next to the old jukebox with 1015 CDs collection and with a dinosaur era amplifier...

Since dinosaur era, the jukebox no longer functional and no CD inside, and that's why I did not post the jukebox photo.

There was quite a few varieties of beers to pick. Since we only planned to hang out for an hour, we did not go for happy hour jugs, just some light cocktails, beers and 2 finger foods.

If you are OK with dark soy sauce, I would recommend you Black Fries (RM5.70)...

The finger fishes (RM7.70) also not bad, it's good as appetizer to prepare for bigger meal later evening...

Overall we felt the food was tastier than the other pub we visited in KLCC area. Atmosphere was good for talk cock sessions and price was reasonable and cheaper than pubs in KL.

Just about 6:20pm, one of the food kakis called. We checked the bill and headed to our dinner place, The Ribs.
