MedKlinn Asens Premium

I teased over this product in my recent post on the company's Autoplus...

Perhaps it's time to review it after 2 weeks of use. Before that, let's see what I got out from the box.

Hasus Explore MTB Shoe

Hasus, a brand that might be still new to Malaysian riders but the company has been manufacturing OEM high end cycling shoes. I was attracted to its design when one of the riders was field testing it. A closer look on it, the built quality and the fitting were impressive, lighter and seemed perfect fit for Asian foots. After some survey and waiting for shipment, finally I got myself one pair...

More closer look after the break...

MedKlinn: Live Different. Live Healthy

I had very bad sinus years back before I went for operations, to the extent that I would have nose bleed every morning. I was introduced to all sorts of air refresher, air cleaner, air ionizer, air sterilizer and whatnot. You name it. I was extremely skeptical with such products, none came into my possession until today....

MedKlinn, a very well known brand in air sterilizer ionizer. Above is 3 units of its latest in-car air sterilizer products, the Autoplus.

Check out more after the break, with mystery gift.... :)

How To Personalize Garmin Edge 810

Sport gadgets like fitness watch and cycling computer can be a personal toy just like mobile phone. It has all your fitness particulars, it tracks your exercises and health improvement over time. Getting it personalized to your liking maybe will motivate to exercise. To the very least, it helps identifying the owner when everyone uses the same device in a group, for instance, a group of riders using the Garmin Edge 810

I found a "hidden feature" while helping friends to load custom maps and clicking through each file and folder in the device. This hidden feature enables the 810 users to add a personal startup message during boot up like shown below...

Garmin Edge 810: How To Load Custom Maps

I blogged on this new cycling computer months ago and managed to poison friends to get theirs as well...

Thanks to my buddy who gave a darn good pricing (thanks Jeremy!).

These are Performance Bundle that come with the heart rate monitor and speed/cadence sensor. There is also an out-front mount bundled together...

The whole bundle makes the local price cheaper than US online stores. Click here to Lelong if you're keen to get one.

Anyway, this post is about loading map to the Edge 810, in particular to combine the topology maps with routable maps, such as the local popular MFM maps. I loaded mine 6 months ago and I had to re-learn to load for friends (aging sign?!), so I thought it would be good to share it here for anyone's and my own benefits.

Let's start with required tools:

Durian~ Durian~

Life has been busy lately ever since I switched job, not even have time to think about the good life I used to enjoy in the old company. Well, guess it's just a matter of time for dust to settle (hopefully). No matter how, how could I miss out the durian season which is going on now?!

It was just one fine day I suddenly craved for durian and it was just so coincidental that I stumbled upon this durian stall that I visited some time ago. Sound like a pregnant lady who suddenly hungers for something huh? LoL...

Camelbak Fanatic

I am a brand loyalist. I will stick to a brand and keep buying products from the brand until the brand starts disappointing me. For instance, I used to be Nike loyalist, all my T-shirts, shoes and whatnot must be Nike, no other competing brands.

I got to know Camelbak when I begun my cycling life 13 months ago (Wow! Time flies!). The first Camelbak product I bought was a hydra bag...

I start liking the brand for its built quality and durability. Since then I start looking for its other products and now look at my Camelbak collection...

How To: Upgrade Motorola RAZR Maxx XT910 AP Version To Jelly Bean

It was quite some time ago that I blogged on my "new" Motorola Atrix. It's been retired for some time after I was gifted with a new Verizon variant Motorola RAZR XT912. I loved the phone but it's just impractical to me as the battery couldn't last me a full day, I am a heavy user though. I was gifted with its sibling that comes with more juices, the AP Retail variant of RAZR Maxx XT910...

The thinner purple phone is the Verizon RAZR XT912. Both phones are identical in all aspects except that RAZR Maxx is fatter with a gigantic 3300mAh battery that can last me full day (heavy use: browse, whatsapps, game etc) with about 30-40% remaining at the end of the day. It can last me 2 days if I am too busy to mingle with it. I was very satisfied and happy with it till recently. The RAZR users in everywhere else in the world have gotten their OTA upgrade to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 except users with Asia Pacific variant! Damn it! But rant no more, follow me after the break for step-by-step to upgrade the AP version of RAZR Maxx XT910 to Jelly Bean. ;)

Ghost Bikes - German Bicycle Technology

I mentioned a "project" in my previous post on SeaSucker. Now I can tell that it's a new bike from Ghost Bikes. I was expecting it as CNY gift a week after CNY. It took a little more time but the wait has finally come to an end. Well, good things always come last, right? :) Before I jump to unveil my new bike, let's tease a little with some intro to Ghost...

Ankle Injury

Picture tells a thousand words. I injured myself :(

Long story cut short. I sprained my right ankle during badminton and torn 3 main ligaments on the ankle.  It got worse because it was new injury on the old wound (that was never properly taken care off) when I was basketball player. This is how bad it was...
