Offroad C4C Full Loop

After the KLMBH #214 Setia Alam bash, my friend kept on assuring me that was not a good offroad experience for beginner like me. He was worried that I would chicken away from mountain biking. LoL. A night before, he whatsapp me asking me if I would join him and the PCT gang for a true offroad experience for beginner. I was hesitate as I wasn't equipped with hydra pack and bike carrier. After some exchanges with him, I told myself just do it!

On the morning, everyone gathered at Good Place Restaurant around 7am for breakfast...

7:30am we headed to the assembly point (N3 09.511 E101 28.150) located at Jalan Miskam off Jalan Paip, just little farther than Fairy Park Klang...

Without further delay, everyone got off the car, prep the bike for action and a short briefing by the leader...

And we're off the road!!

Again, I didn't take photo throughout the ride, only when we had pit stop or at the junction waiting for others. Look at some of the "offroad conditions"...

Rideable right? The "pushable parts" of the trail were even rideable compared to KLMBH. I rode up some but I had to reserve energy so that I could survive the whole trip. :")

The first killer climb came at Bukit Ramlee...

But it's rewarding with a pit stop at the peak...

This is where everyone get refreshed with cold water wash, drinks and the most delicious fruit I've ever had in my lifetime...

The juicy pussy pineapple! It's right from the farm next to the shop...

If that is not enough to boost your energy, perhaps you can try this...

LoL.

Apparently, this trail was the trail for a recent event Cycle4Care and some of the guides were still visible as our pointer as well...

After some rest, it's time to head down for the second half of the journey...

See the road down there? That's where we came from and now headed back there.

No more photos, that indicates I was busy attacking the trail with quite some steeps to climb (and push!). It was a little more technical towards the end with twists and turns in single track. Nevertheless, I completed the full loop! Though I needed my friend to wait for me towards the end :")

Here's the entire ride in Garmin MapSource and Google Maps (you can download the gpx here)...

Really a fantastic experience! 90% ride, the remaining was rideable too but not my level. And here's the milestone I achieved today...

Oh ya, I've gotten back my MotoActv!!
