Hotel Door Hacking

Get snatched, robbed, stolen and whatnot while travel is definitely not you and me looking forward during a trip. Everytime I travel I refresh myself with many safety tips that available in my company intranet. I practice extra cautious when on the foreign soil, such as carry my backpack in front on the chest so that no pocket pick could tail me and pick something from my backpack. I do carry the backpack this way even in the office to prevent the same especially in the elevator where everyone stands still for a while, and courtesy to others that I don't hit someone unintentionally with the bag. However, there were few in the office said I langsi show off this way, I wonder if these people have brain. Anyway, may be this could be a good tip to ladies too, a way to protect your boobs in public. Hehe...

What about the belongings in the hotel when I'm out? Sadly, I think nothing much I can do except to make sure I always close and secure the door when leave the room, I can't be carrying my gadgets all the time with me, I ain't Inspector Gadget. That's my biggest worry whenever I travel as I always believe the hotel lock is very vulnerable and that I am not the only one with the access (key, card key etc), at least I am sharing with the housekeep lady or ladies and some unknown creature if any. Now with this video, it proves there is another way (beside card key) to gain access ...

The action requires a special tool but I believe it's portable and can be easily fabricated.

When in the hotel room, I always lock the door with all the locks i.e. latch / chain lock available there, as if some hot chick is gonna break in and rape me. Who knows a gang bang?! I can't take it babe~ Hehe...

So feel safe now in the room? Not quite. Check this out...

It was once happened in Genting (What?! Got rape?! Hehe... Chill, read on...). There were 4 big macho batangs (guys) in a room sleeping like 4 piggies, the room door was opened by itself or by someone in the middle of the night. We wished but none of us got raped by any chicks :P and we quickly checked our belongings and glad all were intact. There was no sign of break in, no scratches, no knocking etc so either the above videos happened or a "master card key" that could open any door in the hotel. One thing to prove my awareness here, I was the first to be alert and realized the incident! And I bet it happened not more than quarter minute before I was awaken as the door was still swaying! My friends all know me well that nothing can wake me up when I zzzz and I would be the the last to escape the hotel if fire, earth quake, building collapse etc. Hehe...

It looks like nowhere is safe. IMO that is true even for your home sweet home. One tip I always remind and practice myself is "don't give chance". Do whatever you can to "patch up" yourself before anything happen.
