Pick n' Brew Cafe

It's holiday season. Nope, it's still not holiday yet but I already in holiday mood since Ramadan month. And the mood would continue until next year, err... till after Chinese New Year, I guess. Hehe...

Since holiday mood, more yamchar sessions than any other time throughout the year and I might blog more on food till I return to workaholic mood.

I went to this cafe for quite sometime ago, kinda busy to download and review the photos until today, a holiday for me to lie on my bed and sofa for almost a day. Let me count, an hour out for meal, 2 hours to shower my "girlfriend", and may be an hour of walking here and there and toilet businesses. Ha! Only 4 hours on the ground!! :")

Anyway, back to the topic. Last Friday, it was my second time to return to the same cafe while waiting for a birthday celebration in the same mall in the late evening...

As its name hints, you pick the beans and the cafe brews for you in a coffee pot like this...

And the beans are mostly come from south hemisphere...

My bad for blur photo. The locations (from left to right) are Columbia, Brazil, Kenya, Sumatra and Indonesia.

Here's the atmosphere...

One of the criteria in our cafe selection is, good sofa for lazy lying throughout the 8-kua session. Hehe... And my friend an I like this cafe was mainly because of these sofas...

Here's the menu...

We ordered a mint chocolate...

An Irish coffee...

And a cappuccino...

These photos were taken during the first visit. We did not order those "pick-n-brew" coffee with a coffee pot 'cause it's just a late pit stop after a heavy meal which the stomachs could not fill in another pot of liquid. But, still the coffees tasted good with full stomach. Well, it's subjective, some people prefer heavy coffee but others may prefer opposite. We did try the pick-n-brew during the second visit, I would say the coffees were tasted mild, in between heavy and light taste which could easily fit majority's taste buds.

The one we went in One Utama is the branch, just head yourself to One World Hotel direction and you can easily locate it before you enter to One World.

Here's the HQ, it is located in CNI Building, Jalan Kontraktor U1/14, Glenmarie...

You can find it in MFM latest map or the coordinates: N3 05.714 E101 33.866.

I anticipate more and more food that I am gonna explore during this festival season. Consequently, bigger "spare tyres" I might develop on my body... :") I am again free this coming Friday, any suggestion? Hehe...
